The Medical Examiner and Forensic Center

The Medical Examiner and Forensic Center is the first building to be constructed during the development of the new County Operations Center Campus.

Panoramic view of the SD Medical Examiner (west facade)	This concrete enclosure will house the generator (screening it visually and acoustically). The generator provides 24/7 emergency power to essential functions..
The ceiling of the second floor lab holds many pipes, ducts, and wireways.	Scaffolding allows construction workers to safely access the exterior of the structure.

The Central Plant and Utilities Project

The Central Plant Building distributes electrical power and chilled water throughout the new County Operations Center campus. Construction began at the begriming of October 2008. Construction Progress photographs are shown below:
